Elena Stecca
Elena is a Venezuelan-born filmmaker, actress, photographer and educator. She works as both cast and crew in various commercial, industrial and narrative film projects. Elena is best known for her recurring extra work in Syfy channel’s Z Nation, and for her award-winning short films, Brace Face and Silent Threads.
She has worked with children on several film projects and enjoys teaching. Her past educational experience include AmeriCorps Reading Tutor, GED tutor for Skagit Literacy Council, children’s Tae Kwon Do instructor, and tour guide/ paranormal instructor for Bellingham Ghost Hunt Class. Elena has worked for and with non-profits since 2003, giving her a strong calling to help and contribute to her local community.
